【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulinquantitativelyratingorrankingbothrammingandplasticrefractoriesbytheirlinearstabilityafterheating.Thistestmethodisalsousefulfordeterminingwhetherarammingorplasticrefractorycanbeusedinaspecifiedapplicationbasedonlinearchangecriteria.Thistestmethodexcludesbasicandcarbonbearingmaterials.Thistestmethodcanproducedatafortheengineeringanddesignofrefractoryinstallations.Thelinearchangedatacanbeusedtodeterminethenumberofjointsnecessarytomaintainintegrityoframmingorplasticrefractoryinalargeinstallation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedryingshrinkageandofthecombineddryingandlinearchangeoframmingandplasticrefractories.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
